Featuring Uponor’s advanced EP technology, which provides a product that is highly durable and resists corrosion, pitting and scaling from aggressive water, the new offering includes three elbows with 7, 8 or 10 outlets, and four tees with 7, 8, 10 or 12 outlets. This approach reduces the total number of connections needed, resulting in greater design and installation flexibility.

“By extending our EP offering to include these new Branch Multi-port Tees and Elbows, we are providing plumbing professionals with greater design and installation flexibility for commercial or large residential applications,” says Steve Lockridge, senior product manager, Plumbing, for Uponor. “And because EP carries a much more stable cost when compared to metal alternatives, it provides professionals with a more cost-effective plumbing solution.”

The EP Branch Multi-port Tees and Elbows install quickly and easily with standard 1¼" copper pipe mounting brackets, and their compact design offers efficient installation inside a 16-inch wall cavity, eliminating the need for access panels. Both tees and elbows feature Uponor’s unique ProPEX® fitting system for a reliable connection that holds strong, even with up to 1,000 pounds of pull force, and the entire product line addresses all ANSI/NSF and state lead-content initiatives.

“This new product offering makes it even easier and more cost-effective for commercial and large-residential plumbing professionals to install durable, all-plastic plumbing systems featuring Wirsbo AQUAPEX® tubing and Uponor’s advanced EP products,” says Lockridge.
