Uponor Canada Names Chris Hartwick General Manager
MISSISSAUGA, ON, CANADA, SEPT. 2, 2020 — Uponor has announced today the appointment of Chris Hartwick as General Manager, Uponor Canada, with a strategic focus on Canadian sales, marketing, customer service and customer engagement.
“We are thrilled to have Chris take on the leadership of the Canadian team. He brings both deep knowledge and new insight from industry experience. He is a demonstrated business leader with a proven track record of coaching and development,” Chris Budion, Vice President, Uponor North America said. “He is known as a business innovator, and I am confident he will help our Canadian factory and manufacturer representative partners accelerate their already great track record of growth.”
Hartwick most recently served as Director of Sales for Commercial Building Services, in the United States and Canada, at Xylem Inc. where he led both direct sales and distribution-based territories. Previously, he was Vice President of Xylem Canada Company and Managing Director for the Canadian Applied Water Systems division, where he led the business in all functions. Hartwick is a graduate of Xylem’s Executive Development Program, focusing on disruption and delivering accelerated growth. In 2012 while with Grundfos, he was selected “Best of the Best” from amongst 35 global sales winners.
